Your meditation practice begins the very first time you meditate. After all, it’s called a “practice” because we are always practicing it.
To help meditation become a habit, try pairing it with something you already do every day. For example, you could meditate before you drink your morning coffee, or after you brush your teeth at night. And if you miss a few days, it's no big deal. Just start again wherever you left off.
You’ll know you’re on the right path to creating a meditation practice that works for you when you find yourself feeling more steady, resilient, and appreciative of life.
