Sometimes, the link between Balance and Apple Health can disconnect, and reconnecting it restarts tracking of Mindful Minutes.
Please follow the steps below:
- Open your iPhone’s Settings app
- Tap on Health
- Tap on Data Access and Devices
- Tap on Balance
- Turn off Mindful Minutes (tap the toggle until it goes from green to grey)
Once you have done that, please do the following:
- Open the Balance app
- Tap on Profile
- Tap on Settings
- Tap on the Apple Health toggle to switch it on
- Open your iPhone’s Settings app again
- Tap on Health
- Tap on Data Access and Device
- Tap on Balance
- Turn on Mindful Minutes (tap the toggle until it goes from grey to green)
These steps should reconnect Apple Health and Balance. After doing this please complete a meditation and double check that it’s counting towards your Mindful Minutes in Apple Health.
Please note, iPads are not compatible with Apple Health so any meditations completed on the device will not be recorded as mindfulness minutes. You can read more about the Health app here: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT203037.
